As you might suspect, the update is that the April regular Roundtable meeting and the May Little Roundtable meeting are cancelled. The prospects for a regular Roundtable meeting in May are uncertain. We will provide an update on the regular May meeting when we get closer to the date (tentatively set for May 27) and we have further information on requirements and restrictions.
The current situation has thrown a monkey wrench into everyone’s plans, from local elections to the baseball season. The Roundtable is no different. April is the month in which we nominate three board members and new officers, and May is the month in which we have the election. With those meetings cancelled or in doubt, we are faced with the question of how to handle the election. For now, the election is postponed. The Board will decide what action to take at its summer meeting, which hopefully will be in June or July.
