The Confederate Submarine H. L. HUNLEY, Then and Now

January 27, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

At our next meeting, Michael Jesberger will tell us about the Confederate submarine H. L. HUNLEY then and now. On February 17, 1864, the HUNLEY sank a Union warship, but itself was sunk in Charleston Harbor. The vessel was raised in 2000, and in 2004 its crew interred in Magnolia Cemetery in Charleston.

We will meet via Zoom on January 27 at 7:00 p.m. Members will be sent the link a few days before that. First-time visitors and guests can receive the link by sending an email to stlcwrt@gmail.com.
