Little Roundtable Meeting – September 2
September 2, 2021 @ 11:15 am - 1:00 pm

The St. Louis Civil War Roundtable will resume its regular meetings in September. Watch this space for details.
Our next Little Roundtable, a discussion group that meets at Miss Sheri’s Cafeteria, 5406 Southfield Center (near the intersection of South Lindbergh and Baptist Church Road), will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, September 2, at 11:15 a.m. The meeting lasts for an hour or two or until we get tired of talking.
On September 25 there will be a reenactment of the Battle of Pilot Knob at the State park there. Our discussion will be led by – who else? – Walt Busch, who used to run the place and has written extensively on Pilot Knob and Thomas Ewing. Walt has probably forgotten more about that battle than the rest of our collective knowledge of it.
Everyone is invited. At the request of Miss Sheri’s, we are changing procedures just a bit. Please rsvp to stlcwrt@gmail.com, but only if you plan to attend. (If you can’t make it, thanks, no need to reply, and we will see you at the next regular meeting.) We need to have a headcount so that we can provide adequate space for the meeting in one of the separate rooms. We ask that you buy something to eat and drink. Cash only!
We hope to see you there.
