About Us

Founded in 1957, the Civil War Round Table of  St. Louis was formed to encourage the study, analysis and appreciation of the events, personalities, records and publications associated with the American Civil War. Membership is open to all with an interest in the Civil War.

We are a 100-plus member, not-for-profit, organization that meets once a month for a fun and informative evening with an expert guest speaker, raffle or silent auction, trivia quiz and wonderful friendly camaraderie.  Sometimes we may even have a period musical evening, a play, or historical person portrayal.

As a member you will also receive discounts on our dinner meetings and presentations. There is also member discounts on any special events and/or tours.  Our members have many interests in the Civil War that they would like to share.  Some of our Round Table members have also written several books and many articles on various aspects of the American Civil War.

Come join us for a fun and friendly experience with other Civil War enthusiasts!
